De nieuwe iPhone, gedoopt als “iPhone 4″, is in de Verenigde Staten nu al uitverkocht, nog voor hij officieel op de markt is verschenen. Op dit moment zit Apple zonder voorraden. Alle telefoons die nu nog besteld worden, zullen pas na 2 juli geleverd worden.
Wie een iPhone in voorverkoop heeft besteld zou deze normaal ontvangen op 24 juni, wanneer de telefoon officieel te koop is. Nu is dat al een week later, en dat is een teken dat hun voorraad al uitgeput is. Hetzelfde probleem kwam voor bij de voorverkoop van de nieuwe iPad. Je zou denken dat Apple z’n lesje al heeft geleerd. Maar misschien is het echter gewoon een slimme marketingtruc?
Volgens Amerikaanse operator AT&T was het gisteren de drukste online verkoopdag ooit. Het is opmerkelijk dat er zo veel iPhones zijn besteld, omdat, naar verluidt, het bestelproces allesbehalve vlot verliep. Klanten kregen hun bestelling niet (onmiddellijk) geplaatst, en de telefonische klantendienst raakte overbelast. Op internet zijn er zelfs meldingen te vinden van mensen die onbewust met iemand anders zijn account hebben besteld.
Telefoons die nu nog worden besteld, worden na 2 juli bezorgd.

Just wondering if anyone has used this product b4 or knows someone that has as ive been savin for quite some time now and am about to invest in the new iphone 4. The problem i have is the last phone i had the screen ended up trashed because i can not seem to break the habit of sticking in my pocket with my keys or coins etc. If im going to spend a thousand dollars on the the coolest thing under the sun then i dont want this happening again. Ive researched this a bit and the invisibleSHIELD “sounds” like the best option but as you know its a bit hard to tell from little internet pictures so if anyone could please give me some advice on this it would be muchly appreciated.
